About the Founders

a family business

We’re parents. We live on the west side, our daughter now 8 yrs old. As new parents, we did the mommy and me classes, the kids gym, the park meet-ups…. We were doing it alone, seeking community where we could, struggling to find things to do - and places to be - that were as welcoming and enjoyable to parents as it was to Sunny.

Club Joyful is what we wished we had when we were first time parents. On our own life journey, evolving as people, as a family, as creators, as manifesting generators…. an epiphany led us to invest our lives into building and fostering just such a community hang space, hospitality driven, with good classes, good coffee, and good people. So simple and necessary that you almost can’t imagine life without it.

Scott likes to say, “parents are people, too.” We like music, and picnics, and games, and matcha, and conversation…. And we deserve to have those things, with our kids nearby, also having their own joyous time - playing, socializing, sharing, learning, growing. Yes, we can have it both ways.

Our mission is simple - foster a joyful community where families grow together. So come meet your first mom friends, make milestone memories with your babies, give your caretaker a safe space to run out your toddler, and enjoy always on vacation vibes.

Local, easy, comfortable. And most of all…. JOYFUL.
